A small Australian team obsessed with turning everyday spaces into somewhere you actually want to be.

It started with a frustration. We kept walking into our own homes after long days and feeling… nothing. Functional rooms. Fine furniture. But nothing that made us exhale.

The problem wasn’t the space. It was the atmosphere.

We noticed that the places we loved — a café with the right lighting, a hotel lobby that smelled incredible, a friend’s living room we never wanted to leave — all had one thing in common. Small, intentional objects doing quiet, powerful work. A lamp casting the right warmth. A candle that changed the whole room. A piece on the shelf that just made you feel something.

So we went looking for those objects. And kept finding the same problem: either they were overpriced boutique pieces or cheap imports that looked nothing like the photos. There was almost nothing in between.

That gap is where Virelle & Co lives.

What we believe

Your home is the one place in the world you actually control. It should feel like you. Not a showroom. Not a catalogue. Not neutral walls because you were afraid to commit.

We think ambient lighting, fragrance, and carefully chosen objects are the fastest way to change how a space — and how you — feels. And we think you shouldn’t have to spend a fortune to get there.

How we choose what we carry

Every piece goes through the same test: would we actually have this in our own home? Does it photograph well and feel good in person? Does the price make sense for what it is?

We keep our range tight on purpose. We’d rather have fourteen products we believe in completely than two hundred we’re indifferent about.
